The Ataxian is an award-winning documentary that tells the incredible story of Kyle Bryant and his race across America. Although afflicted with Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA), a neuromuscular disease that affects the nervous system and the heart, Bryant is is determined not to let his disease deter his ambitions. Unable to walk, Bryant, along with a group of friends, decide to ride their bikes across the country in the most difficult bike race in the world, The Race Across America. The Ataxian takes viewers on an inspirational journey that proves the human spirit can achieve seemingly impossible feats.
Please join us for a private screening of this documentary on Saturday, Nov. 4 at Oakley Cinemark Theatre at Oakley Station. Doors open at noon with the moving showing from 12:30 – 2 p.m. Stay for the after party at Bonefish Grill immediately after the movie!
