Congratulations!

The Hearing Speech and Deaf Center has officially turned 90 this year! Rehab Resources is proud to sponsor such a wonderful organization who offers so much to the Cincinnati community. On August 11th, partners from throughout the community gathered together to support and celebrate HSDC’s 90th anniversary. The guest speaker was University of Cincinnati President, Dr. Santa J. Ono.

HSDC is a nonprofit organization helping more than 7,000 individuals annually with their communication needs. Founded in 1925 as the Cincinnati League for the Hard of Hearing; HSDC now helps those with hearing loss, speech disorders, or d/Deafness through Audiology, Speech/Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy and d/Deaf Services. No patient is ever turned away despite ability to pay. Last year, HSDC offered $300,000 in charitable services!

Clients are served through HSDC’s three offices:  Burnet Avenue in Cincinnati, Eastgate and West Chester. Their staff is nationally certified and committed to providing cutting edge technology and services in a family focused environment. HSDC staff and leadership volunteers share the philosophy that communication is not a luxury – it is a basic essential human right.
